This may seem silly to most of us, but here is a reminder of what lives up here with us (usually outside)...

Bear, mountain lions (cougars), bobcats, foxes, snakes, mice and a variety of bugs and insects.

They were here long before us and we respect this. Please keep pets on a lease at all times.

Mountain Lions haven't been shown to be aggressive to humans in this area.

If you encounter a lion put small children on your shoulders and put your arms

in the air above your head to appear as large as possible, then slowly back away, they will too.

Bear stay as far away from humans as possible,

but when hiking make some noise so you don't surprise them.
